Chosen Photograph

As discussed in the audio sample, this photo could be understood as a significant artifact in understanding family value as this was the first time I was outwith the United Kingdom with my family. The photo itself is located on a beach in Capri, Italy.

Description of Photograph

Similarly to the previous photographs, this photo highlights a significant amount of physical space which allows myself as the producer to portray through music.

Reflection 

By incorporating a full descriptive sample from my mother regarding this sample – this allows the sample to become the main part of the piece and effectively include atmospheric ambient music as a contextual undertone. I admire this photograph’s simplicity of such and the certain sounds that could be associated with the photograph’s literal location.

The Music 

By developing and adding a sampled interview description from my mother – this could be understood as enriching the music’s conceptual understanding and thus apply, family value with music.

The Final Product
